I’m Back! I know this is a week behind that event but I have been so sick. Travelling home for 6 hours on an airplane is NOT the healthiest thing for you. You would think with all that money they make charging our Soldiers for extra luggage, they could add a UV treated airsystem. Pffft. I’m also glad I took snacks with me. You get this lil bag of trail mix, a drink or two of soda, water, tea or coffee, and a prepared meal free. Now the prepared meal was some kind of dried up breakfast sandwich and a muffin. Those things were all free. If you wanted anything above that, you pay for it. Ok, I get it, they need to make money too. The food on the way back for dinner was not anymore impressive. Hamburger at some airport grill in Denver, 12.95!! For the BURGER! No chips, no soda…just the burger!! ~mumbles something really obscene about their parents~

I’m so excited!! I’m actually all packed and while the days flew by, today the minutes are slowly ticking.
